Absolutely! Your home energy components work as a system, and it is important to understand how spray foam insulation plays a role in your home energy performance.

Many home improvements such as spray foam insulation always give a seller the competitive advantage when reselling their home offering better energy savings.

Spray foam insulation creates an airtight seal that eliminates drafts and cold spots, ensuring a consistent temperature throughout your home. It also acts as a barrier against dust, pollen, and other allergens, significantly improving indoor air quality.

Yes, spray foam insulation has soundproofing benefits. Spray foam insulation performs much better than fiberglass or blown insulation.

Spray foam insulation adds rigidity to walls, roofs and strengthens the structure.

Spray foam insulation is highly efficient, reducing your home’s energy consumption and carbon footprint. Our products are also made with eco-friendly materials and meet rigorous environmental standards.

On average it will take 7-14 days to start the job and completion follows 1-2 business days after. We also recommend waiting 48 hours after spraying to enter the home.

Please refer to the Homeowner Checklist to view the necessary steps to best prepare your home for our services.

Fresh Air Supply needs to be confirmed with your HVAC company prior to installing spray foam insulation. A representative will walk your home and make sure there are no conflicting issues with your current installed mechanical systems.

We highly recommend scheduling a consultation to better educate you since the world of spray foam is vast and very technical. For the meantime we do provide a few sources listed as follows; Build.Science.com, SprayFoam.com, and our supplier Swdurethane.com.

We install SWD Urethane products. We’ve specifically sourced this product to reach our personal quality standards and have ensured their company ethics align with our own. We install either “Closed-Cell” or “Open-Cell” spray foam. See the highlighted links to view the product brochures to learn more.

The energy savings are equal between both “Open-Cell” and “Closed-Cell”, the main difference is the added structural integritiy that “Closed-Cell” provides. “Closed-Cell” is an approved air barrier which is fully non-porous and required in many applications in specific climate zones. Both products are great options and are provided at two different price points. We will walk you through the options to help you choose which is best for your home.

There are no long-term maintenance requirements except visually inspecting your spaces with normal home maintenance.

Properly maintained spray foam will last the lifetime of the home. Our product manufacture offers a lifetime warranty on the product.

Any existing insulation is always recommended to be removed. Fiberglass is removed from the roof deck/attic ceiling and blown insulation is vacuumed from the attic floor.
